About Me

My photo
I'm a portrait / landscape photographer with an eye for the unusual. I enjoy out of the ordinary locations, fascinating people and curious concepts to shoot. I primarily use a Canon DSLR and a handful of lenses. I am truly fond of natural light photography. I am based in Kenmore, Washington.

Repurposing the Past

A once functional building, serving a grand purpose has long since been abandoned.  This monument to a great construction boom in the Northwest has been left to decay.  But in being forsaken, it has transformed into something more.  In many places around the building site, it's become a modern canvas for artists to express themselves using a transitory art style.  Illustrations are created over the top of older works, giving this area of dilapidation a sort of life unto itself.  The only permanence it really has is a photo.
